Pivnaya Akademia is a working brewery and casual bar in downtown Yerevan that takes beer seriously—they brew bio beer on-site. The crayfish are exceptional (reviewers call them "the best in the world"), cooked with a perfect balance of salt and sweetness. Burgers are solid, hot kitchen includes Mexican soup and seafood cream soups, and desserts like brownie with ice cream finish strong. The 500ml beer runs 1,500 AMD plus service charge.
